Our Team

Our Mission

Our group was founded for the purpose of fostering connections between Georgetown University undergraduate students and major international organizations, including IGOs, NGOs, think tanks, and private corporations. Our group conducts robust research on various IR topics, and we present our findings and recommendations to these organizations. With access to the world's leading resources in the field of international relations, we strive to create partnerships that mutually benefit our fellow students and our client organizations.

Each semester, our program forms teams, each comprising 5-6 motivated and talented student researchers. These research teams are carefully matched with particular individuals, departments, or divisions within our client organizations. By working closely with our clients, we ensure that our teams engage in pertinent and valuable research projects on specific questions or issues that are of interest to our clients. These research topics often require a level of specialization and attention that may be beyond the scope of the client organization's resources.

Over the course of a rigorous 2-3 month program, our researchers delve into their assigned research topics. They continuously develop hypotheses, analyze data, and meet on a regular basis to discuss their findings and plan their next steps. To enhance the collaborative process, our student researchers connect with their primary partners at the client organization, as well as any other employees whose work intersects with the topic being researched. This ensures a holistic understanding of the research area and allows for comprehensive insight.

The culmination of the program is marked by our researchers presenting their findings to the primary partners and relevant stakeholders within the client organization. Our research teams provide both oral presentations and written pieces to our clients. These include blog posts (here on our website), slide presentations, data visualizations, research timelines, and more thorough and comprehensive research papers. By providing these deliverables, we aim to offer tangible and actionable insights that can directly contribute to our client organizations' work.

All of our partnerships operate on a pro-bono basis. This allows us to provide students with unparalleled research experience, access to influential networks, and an exclusive inside look into major international organizations. Our group serves as a platform for students to apply their academic expertise for the greater good, leveraging their skills and knowledge to address real-world challenges.

Supported by dedicated faculty members and a team of intelligent Georgetown undergraduates with diverse interests and capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to tackle a wide range of complex IR issues. We are actively seeking client organizations around the globe who stand to benefit from the research we can provide, as well as the collaborative partnerships we can foster.
